By engaging Rampyapedi Attorneys for legal services, you agree to the following terms:

  • Legal services are provided subject to South African law and regulations
  • Attorney-client privilege applies to all communications
  • Fees and costs are as agreed in the signed mandate
  • Professional conduct rules of the Legal Practice Council apply
  • Services are provided with reasonable skill and care

As our client, you agree to:

  • Provide complete and accurate information relevant to your matter
  • Cooperate fully in the provision of legal services
  • Pay fees and costs as agreed in the mandate
  • Follow legal advice provided by the firm
  • Inform us promptly of any changes affecting your matter
  • Maintain confidentiality of legal strategy and advice

Our fee structure and payment terms:

  • Consultation fees are charged at agreed hourly rates
  • Fixed fees may apply to certain standard services
  • Disbursements and third-party costs are charged separately
  • Payment terms are typically 30 days from invoice date
  • Interest may be charged on overdue accounts
  • Fee estimates are provided where possible

Our liability is limited as follows:

  • Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law
  • We maintain professional indemnity insurance
  • No liability for third-party actions or decisions
  • Advice is based on information provided by the client
  • No guarantee of specific outcomes in legal matters
  • Time limitations apply to claims against the firm

Either party may terminate the attorney-client relationship:

  • Client may terminate at any time with written notice
  • Attorney may withdraw subject to professional conduct rules
  • Outstanding fees must be paid upon termination
  • Files and documents will be released upon payment
  • Confidentiality obligations continue after termination
  • Court permission may be required in litigation matters

These terms are governed by South African law:

  • South African law governs this agreement
  • Limpopo courts have jurisdiction over disputes
  • Professional conduct rules apply to attorney obligations
  • Consumer protection laws may apply where relevant
  • Alternative dispute resolution is preferred

These Terms of Service were last updated on January 1, 2025. We reserve the right to modify these terms with reasonable notice.
